Dine and Discover: Planting CBD Seeds

Dine and Discover: Planting CBD Seeds

Get the low down on CBD while you dine on Chinese farm to table homestyle cooking in our beautiful pink backyard.

Wednesday July 27th, 6pm

Is CBD the same as weed and do you get high from it? They look, smell, and taste the same so....but, no.

In our first Dine and Discover event series, learn about CBD from the experts. Head and Heal is a farmer owned small business based in Upstate NY that will teach you the 101s on CBD and hemp. We'll have a special dinner menu available so you can dine while you discover the healing world of CBD. The bar will be open and additional snacks and sweets are available to purchase.

This is the first part of a 3 part Dine and Discover CBD series with Head and Heal. See our calendar of upcoming events to rsvp for the other upcoming events in this series to become the CBD expert you were always meant to be!

4-6pm: FREE

Check out the line of CBD products from Head and Heal and ask their friendly team all about their products. Get 10% off all Head and Heal products even if you haven't bought a ticket for our Dine+Discover.

6-7:30pm: DINE + DISCOVER

Your admission gets you 20% off all Head and Heal products, 1 entree from our special dinner menu, and an intimate lesson on CBD with the Head and Heal team. You'll also be able to indulge in our dirt touching station where you can feel and smell what good, organic soil that grows high quality hemp is really like. We will cover the following topics:

- CBD 101: What is CBD, how is hemp grown, and how does it differ from weed?

- How does regenerative, organic growing of hemp differ from conventional?

- An overview of ECS. Don't know what ECS is? Neither do we - you'll need to come find out with us!

About Head and Heal

In 2010, Allan Gandelman founded Main Street Farms, a certified organic vegetable farm based in Cortland, NY that still farms over 30 acres of vegetables. In 2017, Allan got Lyme's Disease and started experiencing arthritic pain, insomnia, and lethargy. Doctor's had a hard time diagnosing him, and as his symptoms got worse and considered shutting down the farm. That's when a former employee sent Allan a bottle of CBD from Colorado and his symptoms drastically improved. Now they grow their own USDA certified organic hemp and they are on the front lines fighting for the rights of Cannabis growers and processors every day through legistlation and education. Local Roots is proud to sell Head and Heal products!
